HAD A GREAT TIME ON THE USS KIRK DID A WESTPAC IN 1992 AND WAS BASED OUT OF LONG BEACH CAIFORNIA WHICH IS LOG GONE BUT HOPE TO CATCH UP WITH SOME OLD BUDDIES!

I know it’s been a long time since anyone posted to this, but I was assigned to 1st division from 91’to 93’. WestPac 92/93 was an experience I’ll never forget!
I’m in the process of trying to start a documentary film company, focusing on Veterans & their causes. My time on the Kirk, actually inspired the company name, Knox River Films.
I would love to “cut my teeth”, on a film dedicated to bringing the Kirk home when the time comes. Having followed the journey of the USS Intrepid, the USS Texas, & more recently, the USS Midway, the Kirk would make for an inspiring story. Having served aboard her, makes it even more personal!
